The Lonnie Chronicles
FACTOID: Stuyvesant Place, the other street that Lonnie's building is located on, is the only truly East-West street in Manhattan.
The Apartment
This is Lonnie's building on East 10th Street in New York. In the movie 'The Interpreter', the person Nicole Kidman played lived in Lonnie's building. Each of the six tenants in the building was paid $1000 per day for 8 days to allow them to film outside and in the hallway. Lonnie's windows are on the second floor.
Lonnie's living room wall with some of his books.
This is the living room with more books - these on the floors. The books on the floor by the window are the books that have been read. The books on the floor to the left are the to-be-read pile.
Lonnie's compact kitchen.
The famous problem bathtub which is missing two of its claw feet and sits at an angle. The front two claw feet are attached - the back ones have come off and are lying on the floor. The tub is supported by books and some wood in the back.
Besides books Lonnie collects leather jackets and boots. Here are just some of his boots on the floor of his bedroom. He has an entire closet filled with more boots.
